Delivery Policy
NB: When you accept delivery of your item(s), if you are unhappy with any aspect of the delivery or the items, please make a note explaining exactly what the problem is on the Proof of Delivery document you will be asked to sign. If you do not do this, we may not be able to accept returns requests.
Universal Furniture Wholesale only distribute to the UK mainland via the web-store. For deliveries further afield, please contact the customer services team on 0161 975 0086.
We aim to dispatch all orders within 5-7 working days, and on the rare occasion this is not possible we will contact you immediately with details. Our couriers arrange their own deliveries and guarantee to deliver the goods within 10 days from receipt of goods, although this is usually within 5 days.
Delivery charges are calculated on a per item basis, starting from £12 to a maximum of £37. All orders over £750 are delivered free of charge. Items may also be collected.
Drop Shipping
We can offer a fully comprehensive white label drop shipping service which means that the products will be delivered directly to your customer’s door. This service has various advantages, for example; it can save you money as you will not have to house stock and inventory and your customer will not identify that the product has come from us. As a leading drop ship wholesaler we have strong bonds with the manufacturer’s which is extremely fundamental as you need a drop ship supplier you can trust; therefore enabling us to offer you high quality products at the right price and provide the most efficient service possible.
Returns Policy
To return an item due to damages and/or discrepancies, you must complete an RMA request within 5 days of receipt of your order. A separate RMA request must be completed for each item, quoting your username, the sales order number, the item description and the reason for the return. An RMA note will then be generated and sent to you. Please note: All returned items must include the RMA note, and should be sent back in the same condition as they were received, suitably packaged for transit.
Terms & Conditions of Sale
These terms and conditions of sale apply to any goods supplied by Universal Furniture Wholesale, whose registered company address is at Broadstone House, Broadstone Road, Stockport, Cheshire, SK5 7DL; company registration number 6784133.
Only after we have accepted your order is there a contract of sale. Customers will be notified via email when an order has been accepted; this is not to be confused with an email order receipt.
Orders will only be accepted when payment has been received in full by Universal Furniture Wholesale.
Universal Furniture Wholesale have the right to change the terms and conditions of sale without any prior warning in relation to future orders.
Universal Furniture Wholesale will make every effort to ensure that all prices, descriptions and images of products on its website are correct. If, after an order has been accepted, and within 10 working days of acceptance, we discover an error has been made on the price or description on the website we reserve the right to terminate the contract of sale and any money received for the item will be refunded within 3 working days.
Ownership of the items will not pass to the customer until the goods and related charges are paid for in full.
Universal Furniture Wholesale uses Protx, a payment system from SAGE Ltd, the UK’s leading accounting firm so you can be sure that all card payments are secure. Card details are not recorded by Universal Furniture Wholesale on any online transactions. Reasonable precautions will be taken to ensure all other client information is kept securely.
